My newest picture book, A Throne of Her Own is Now Available for purchase!!
I'm so excited about this one! Inspired by my granddaughter, and illustrated with hand-painted watercolors by a young local artist, the book tells the story of a Princess who is turning five and is now ready for her own throne. But the search for the perfect throne isn't easy. Laugh along at the poor Princess's mishaps along the way! Will she ever find a throne that is just right for her?
Don't forget to check out the illustrators' page to learn more about Isabelle Drobnick's beautiful artwork. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed writing and illustrating it!
See the book tab for a link to the book.
CONTEST: Everyone who purchases a book AND leaves a review on Amazon between now and the end of November will be entered into a drawing. 1st Prize is a $25 Amazon Gift Card and 2nd Prize is a copy of the author's other two children's books.
National Novel Writing Month starts November 1st through the end of the month. I will join thousands in trying to finish 50,000 words of my YA novel in one month! Several of my friends have previously accomplished this goal.
I love writing grade school chapter books (approx 7500 words) so this will be my first time attempting a full-length novel. I had the synopsis in 2019 and spent the year writing a detailed outline, character profiles, and world-building. So now is the time! Wish me luck.

The second book in the Prudence series - Prudence and the Rainy-Day Duckling - is finished and in edits and awaiting final illustrations.
In book two, Prudence is up to her hijinks again including trouble with bubbles, mayhem at the shoe store and as usual, things don't go as planned ending up in a hilarious duck chase!
Be watching for the release date soon!
